Art or fashion is provided a huge window where we can sit and gaze at another world. In this world, everything is reversed in unimaginable ways.

In this project, I combined some concepts of abstract art together in an attempt to create a kind of chaos and destruction, so that the subversion of this concept replaces alternate temporary artistic explorations. Thereby promoting the completion of my design.

1 Subvert the inherent concept of fashion

Daily necessities and lifestyle habits are an important part of humans. They are not just daily necessities. They are also the medium you put on to bring yourself a certain experience. We are attached as persons to our clothing 9 and to that of our fellow human beings and we form a relationship with it.

2 Subvert the inherent boundary between beauty and ugliness

This idea questions the airbrushed perfection prevalent in fashion today and offers women a new pathway out of the societal pressure to look a certain way, I aim to detach the body and women from ‘cover girl’ perfection and the usual stereotypes and find the beauty of the person who lies beneath the skin, not the judged surface appearance.

The inside of an individual is much more complex and layered so I am presenting this internal beauty and complexity as a surface treatment.
