02 THE SPACE NO.2
I lived in Japan for a while. In Japan, I have seen more of the Confucian spirit in China in the past, as well as the freehand brushwork I read in ancient poems, and the persistence in the artisan spirit. However, I also strongly feel the friction with the West that this country has endured during the Westernization path after the Meiji Restoration, which has many similarities with the situation in China today.
Japan has gone through a process from copying to creating, and it has sought a century of modernization. But the path of internationalization is often the result of Westernization, and they have been searching for themselves, what is the soul of the lost culture. During the economic bubble, Japan built a large number of art museums all over the country and bought masterpieces by Van Gogh and others at high prices. But on the other hand, they will keep asking, what are we doing and what are we?
An Eastern nation has the same Eastern culture as other cultures on the world stage, and there will be gaps and desires in the face of Western culture. Soon I felt that there should be a bigger picture to face this situation. I want to see if I can stand in a broader view of the universe, embrace the East and the West, and ignore the East and the West,I want to thinking about our universe and the nature around us.
After humans came to exist in the world, they made considerable changes to the original pattern of the world, occupying the habitats of other animals, digging ponds, moving mountains, and filling water to make land. When humans disappear in this world, cities will no longer With today's prosperity, animals have returned, and the traces of ashes and burns have a sense of depression in human society, which makes people feel infinite. But looking at it again, the birds, beasts, flowers and birds are also harmonious in the picture, and I suddenly felt that maybe this is the original face of the world.
